MARXTRAIN DISCUSSION GROUP
Yahoo's MarxTrain discussion group is a congenial place to ask questions, share information, or just relax with other Marx enthusiasts. You will have to apply for membership. There is no cost, but there may be a slight delay.

TRAIN COLLECTORS ASSOC. / E-TRAIN
The site for the Train Collectors Association and its online magazine E-Train.

PLASTICVILLE COLLECTOR'S ASSOCIATION
The Plasticville Collector's Association is full of pictures and information about plastic snap-together buildings, including Marx (click the OTHER MANUFACTURERS link).

MODELTRAINJOURNAL
The ModelTrainJournal is a new three-rail site with news, articles, chat, and classified ads. Its editor, Bill Lango, is a Marx tin fan, so we hope to see Marx prominently featured in the near future.

THOR'S ALL-GAUGE PAGE
Thor's chaotic but entertaining All-Gauge Page has many articles on having fun with tinplate trains, including how-to articles, layouts, historical and philosophical commentary, with a special focus on Marx trains and an engaging light-hearted style. Uncle Thor also runs the amusing and nostalgic Army Men site, dedicated to plastic soldiers.

MARXTIN

Walt Hiteshaw's Marxtin page has many photos and an experienced collector's commentary on Marx and Marx-related trains, as well as equipment for sale. See some very rare items here.

GIRARD AND OAK PARK
Rich Getty operates the Girard and Oak Park railroad using Marx equipment. His site is an entertaining and light-hearted guide to the railroad, its construction, and its history and management. He also features conversion projects using FauxToys wraps.

William McFadden's TOY TRAINS
William McFadden's pleasant Toy Trains site features nostalgia, a tour of his simple, appealing layout (mostly Marx), hints and tips for toy train operators, videos, Marx paper, and a much better Links List than this one.

VIENNA STATION / TRAINMARKET.COM
Ray Ellen's Vienna Station is a great place to buy used and collectible trains and train equipment. Ray is fast, fair, and good-humored.

MARX TRAINS / AMERITRAINS®
The tradition of Marx tin production is carried on by Marx Trains/Ameritrains, who produce classic and updated Marx cars and locomotives in a grand array of new road names and paint schemes.

JDP / TRAINS-ON-LINE
JDP sells collectible train equipment, with a substantial sections featuring Marx cars, locos, and sets. Large photos let you see exactly what you are buying.

DICK REICHARD
Dick Reichard publishes a series of manuals, with template drawings, for building your own track switches from pieces of track and other common material. This link leads to Dick's e-Train article on building tinplate switches, at the bottom of which is a link to an order form.

THE ROBERT GROSSMAN COMPANY
The Robert Grossman Company is a great place to get original and reproduction parts for classic Marx trains. His catalogue is indispensable, and he also carries a useful repair manual.
