Q-Ship Model #1

HS-87
Q-Ship!

Not satisfied to navigate your game surface with a Gunboat or Freighter? How about splitting the difference!

Here is another first from Richard designed for the Pirate Hearted among you who see the possibilities for such a vessel in your Naval and Pulp Fiction games.

Cleverly hidden from view, this wolf in sheep's clothing carries a massive broadside of one 6" Gun forward, and a 5" Gun astern.

She's a broad 5.5" on the beam, and a full 20" long (100' to scale). The boom on the foremast is fully operational, too.

(Tell us what to call her, and we'll put that name on her stern. Ask for a flag to hide under, and one to show when baring her fangs, and we'll provide as best we can. Crew Figures NOT Included.)

Sold!  1/11/08

Take a look at the photos below and see if you don't find her a jewel--and a viper!

Freighter Model HS #84

HS-84
Freighter #5

As with the other two models, this one is 20" long and 5" on her beam. However, Richard experimented with this one by increasing the freeboard from waterline to Main Deck to a full 1.75", allowing for an especially spacious and deep single hold. As ever, he Mast and Loading Boom are functional and may be swung over either side and then back to the holds. Interiors of Deck House and Bridge are accessible--also as ever-- with many visual details.

As mentioned, this hull design is essentially a "one of a kind" due to the increased work and materials to raise the freeboard to this height. While Richard says he'll make for of this size when commissioned to do so, he doesn't expect to make more this high.

Tell us what to call her, and we'll put that name on her stern!

Freighter Model HS #81

HS-81
Freighter #3

This model is 20" long, 5" on her beam, with a freeboard of 1.25" from waterline to Main Deck. Interiors of Deck House and Bridge are accessible, detailed, and the Steering Console in the Wheelhouse is especially good. Main Deck Hatch Covers open on this model to reveal holds ready to be filled with ... whatever fills your holds. The Mast and both Loading Booms are functional and may be swung over either side and then back to the holds, as well as elevated parallel with the mast.

Tell us what to call her, and we'll put that name on her stern!
