In the latest Buffalo Chip, some buildings, such as the
Bank/Attorney and Newspaper Offices, have been enlarged, and other
improvements have been made. All buildings are now printed with
realistic window "glass" (including business name and advertising)
in place, and the acetate windows are now optional. Players may
use the buildings as printed, or cut out the windows and use the
printed acetate "glass." The sets of signs and acetate windows
are now no longer figured into individual building prices, but
constitute an optional Accessory Set for each building.
Another change is the addition of the town street. A 10" x 6.5"
section of dirt street, complete with wood plank sidewalk (showing
breaks and knotholes) 1.5" wide, now comes part and parcel with
each building. There are three different sections for greater
individuality which may also be bought separately. Modular construction
and arrangement of whole streets is now easier than ever.
Finally, the full color cardstock sheets comprising Buffalo
Chip are now professionally printed for a reliably superior
product.
Originally designed to represent the classic Kansas "Cow
Town"
with it's single East-West running street, Buffalo Chip
can now be constructed in a variety of forms, from mining towns,
to farm communities, border towns, or whatever else you like.
In fact, with little or no modification, Buffalo Chip's
buildings can be used for Victorian-era European settlements in
colonial areas all over the world.
Now you can build your Old West gaming town one structure at
a time or buy the whole works in three package
deals--right down to the outhouses!
Give the new Buffalo Chip buildings a try. You'll find
that for economy, detail, and practicality , they can't be beat!
