Buffalo Chip is the classic cut-and-fold (not to mention cut-and-shoot) western town designed specifically for 25-28mm miniature gaming. Completely redesigned and improved throughout, Buffalo Chip can be configured to represent the classic Kansas Cow Town, Colorado mining town, Texas farm community, or whatever you like.

And - you can build it one structure at a time, or buy the whole printed works in three package deals ,or as PDF files for "self printing"--right down to the outhouses!

Professionally printed on full-color heavy cardstock, Buffalo Chip is now equipped with

  • Realistic printed windows or optional clear acetate windows,
  • Authentic details, wood grain, knotholes, signs,
  • Realistic streets and board sidewalks,
  • Two-sided doors that can be opened and closed.
  • Removable roofs for interior play.

Let's look at a typical building:

The Bank
Two offices in one brick building, fronting on the corner, with printed wood shingle flat roof, and a selection of 'Founded" dates to mount over the entrance.

9" wide, 4" deep, 1.75" interior height, 3" exterior. Price: $12.00

Accessory Set--$1.00
Windows--Five, one in Front Door in black and gold, "Bank."
Signs--Seven, "Sodbusters & Swineherds Bank", "Cattle Barons Bank", "Farmers & Merchants Bank", "Law Firm Dewey, Cheatham, & Howe", "Larson E. Whipsnade", others).

Buffalo Chip remains bargain priced at half or less the cost of resin, foam or plastic buildings of considerably smaller size. See an example.

Each building's optional Accessory Set contains signs, ads, and posters in full color and B&W, all in authentic period fonts. Most sets include larger signs for mounting over the sidewalks. There are at least three different proprietor names to choose from, providing extra "Character" to the establishment. Each set also contains a number of printed acetate windows, most in color, with appropriate designs to match the business. While each Accessory Set is specific to one building or block, all are priced at either $1.00 or $2.00.
